The riding route, Riderute Sydfyn

ryttere på Riderute Sydfyn

Welcome to the South Funen Riding Route, where you can experience some of Denmark’s most beautiful landscapes on horseback.

The estates Brahetrolleborg, Holstenshuus and Steensgaard opened the doors to their properties to riders and together with the Bikuben Foundation and the Danish Nature Agency created 75 kilometers of continuous bridleways.

The 75 km long route offers a mix of nature and history. One minute you will be riding through an old forest, in the next you will be surrounded by vast stretches of farmland. Along the way you will enjoy great views of the archipelago and historic buildings.

You need to have a riding pass

You can plan your own route or choose one of our tour suggestions.

In order to ride on the South Funen Riding Route you need to have a riding pass. You can choose to buy access to the entire route or a part of it. You can buy a riding pass for one or more days or for the whole year. Riding passes and prices

Most of the route passes through forest, where cultivation and other activities might be going on at any time. Therefore, it is important that you are aware of the guidelines that you receive when you buy the riding pass and that you show respect to any activities you encounter on your way. This way, both you and everyone else can have the best experiences in the outdoors.
